About Us
At the end of lock down in 2020 I started selling preloved items on Depop. After some success, I became passionate about business and began taking it seriously.
When I was younger my nan bought me my first ever sewing machine. I spent hours with her learning how to sew. My friend approached me one day and asked if I could make a leopard print bag for her. It took a while, but eventually I figured out how to put it all together and made it for her. She loved it! I had some fabric left over and decided to make another one with what remained and listed it on Depop and Etsy. Within a week it had sold. I was hooked… and Salvi was born.
Towards the end of 2020 I started my degree in business. Over the next few months I sewed hundreds of fluffy tote bags. I carried on growing Salvi on Depop and Etsy, as well as starting to create new designs such as the corduroy tote bags (which I still sell to this day).
This wouldn't have been possible without the help of my mum, Sally. Without her Salvi wouldn't be where it is today. This is where the name 'Salvi' was created: Sally (Sal) and Evie (vi).
Sal + vi = Salvi :))
After years of selling on Depop and Etsy, it's now time I take the leap and build Salvi into the brand I know it can be.
